GPS Approaches:

1. Open the GPS and click the button with a D and an arrow through it (This represents the waypoint button).

2. Click the right arrow button on the small dial two times.

3. Type in the desired landing airport code.

4. Press enter 3 times.

5. Perform steps 1-7 of the "ILS Landings" help topic.

6. Click the Proc. button and select the ILS runway to land on, then press enter 3 times.

7. Now, make sure that the NAV/GPS selector switch is set to GPS.

8. Click the Proc. button on the GPS, and select and enter the "Activate Approcah" button, then go back to the Proc. menu and click the "Activate vectors to final" button.

9. Make sure you are at 1900 feet, if not, make sure you are BELOW the glide slope.

10. Reduce speed to 140-170 knots, and perform the final Landing checklist:

• Landing Gear Down
• Flaps set to 3/4
• Spoilers armed
• Autobrake is on (Not recommended for maximum realism)
• Landing Lights on
• Ensure that you're cleared to land with ATC.

12. At about 4-5 miles from the airport, your plane should hit the localizer and/or hit the glide slope.

13. Once you reach the runway threshold, disengage autopilot and autothrottle, set throttle to idle, and guide the plane down manually for a nice, smooth landing.
