ILS Landings:

1. Go to the map and look for the desired landing airport

2. Click on the long, green feather that juts out from the desired landing runway

3. Memorize the ILS frequency and the heading

4. Go back to your airplane and open the radio stack.

5. Under the NAV1 section, in the standby location, enter the ILS frequency.

6. At the bottom of the radio stack, click the NAV1 button. (This will engage morse code of the airport code to be announced once you are in ILS territory).

7. Enter the heading into the heading autopilot heading location. (DO NOT PRESS HEADING HOLD)

8. Set the autopilot altitude to 1900 feet and press altitude hold.

9. Set the NAV/GPS selector switch to NAV.

10. Press the approach hold switch, then press the autopilot master switch.

11. Naturally, when you press approach hold, altitude hold will disengage, (obviously) press altitude hold again to ensure that it is ON!

12. Once you are 10 Miles from the airport, reduce speed to 140-170 Knots (Depending on airplane size).

13. Perform the final landing checklist:

• Landing Gear Down
• Flaps set to 3/4
• Spoilers armed
• Autobrake is on (Not recommended for maximum realism)
• Landing Lights on
• Ensure that you're cleared to land with ATC.

14. Once you reach the runway threshold, disengage autopilot and autothrottle, set throttle to idle, and guide the plane down manually for a nice, smooth landing.
